More Tree Trimming with Wendy's Mom

Rabbit and I took Lenore and wandered over to Wendy's mom's house to help with tree trimming. It was a lot of fun!

Rabbit brought a lot of festive decorations.

Which it turns out were NOT for the tree.

Lenore was a lot of help. What a sweet kid. She carried a lot of stuff, and helped us unpack the ornaments.

Rabbit said she didn't need a stepladder...

When we were done decorating, we all sat down and watched "Silent Hill". Because nothing says "Merry Christmas" like watching a town full of the damned... um... well, actually Rabbit really wanted to see it, and so did Wendy's mom. We only covered Lenore's eyes twice, and she said it really wasn't that scary. Actually, she had a different take on the movie than I would've thought. When we were talking about it at the end, she asked if we really thought someone would go through all that trouble for a child that wasn't theirs. Like people we know. Rabbit and I said that we sure thought so, and she just kind of nodded and got very thoughtful. (shrug)

Kids.

Anyway, the movie was great, and the tree turned out beautiful!

Many thanks to Wendy's Mom, Karen, for letting us come help her decorate her tree! Thanks, Karen!
