Gage's Pacific Northwest Adventure - Pt 7

So off we went, driving the Columbia River Gorge for lunch. The scenery was AWESOME.

We saw a dam, which was pretty cool.

And we drove across the "Bridge of the Gods" (though we didn't see any Gods).

Some of the scenery reminded Miranda and I of Colorado.

And some of the scenery didn't remind us of Colorado at ALL.

We finally ended up at our lunching destination: the Walking Man Brewery.

But once we got inside, Miranda seemed a lot more interested in their beer menu than food.

When asked what she wanted to eat, she just blew me off and said "I'll have whatever you order". LadyDragonfly and her sweetie ordered a beer sampler, and Miranda immediately swiped one of their glasses. Apparently she was having whatever THEY ordered too.

We ended up with some nummy stuffed pepper things, and Miranda settled on just wanting the one 4 oz glass of beer from the sampler.

Unfortunately, Miranda herself weighs quite a bit less than four ounces. And once the appetizer we'd had for lunch was gone, well... I'd have to say Miranda was pretty well gone too.

Did make the rest of the trip into the Gorge quieter for the rest of us, though.

Beeeep!! We Interrupt This Blog for an Exciting Side Trip!!!!

I've been a bad bunny, and I haven't told you guys even HALF of the stuff we did in Washington state. And here I am going on another trip anyway.

Today, Wendy, Wendy's Aunt Linda, and I all went to see somewhere really, really beautiful...

And some really cool things...

Actually, a couple of really cool bridges...

We went to the Royal Gorge!!!

I've never been, and neither had Wendy. It was so spiffy! I took a LOT of pictures.

So, up next (after I finish telling you about my Pacific Northwest adventure) - Gage Goes to the Royal Gorge!!!

(Okay, so there's the Train Museum to talk about too. But don't you worry for a second that this means I'm not going to make Wendy keep taking me out places! No siree bob! I'll get caught up. I will!)

Gage's Pacific Northwest Adventure - Pt 6

(And after a little nagging from LadyDragonfly, here's another update! Pesky freakin bug. - Gage)

So, the Mall. Big whoopedy doo. Well, except that even the malls in Washington were weird.

On the way in, we met a Monkey who was rallying for peace with a bunch of humans who seemed quite nice.

There was a skating rink in the mall.

Washington has a LOT of fountains. Seriously, fountains EVERYWHERE.
And where there's not a fountain, there are flowers. It's very strange in contrast to Colorado. Very strange indeed.

Almost as strange as being a pack animal for a clingy pixie. I hadn't noticed that Miranda had wandered away until she showed up again. She said she'd found some french fries under the passenger seat but now she was hungry again. And so off we all went for a drive and dinner in the Columbia River Gorge!
